Can I fully avoid seeing my eye doctor using eyeTest.com?
No. While our at-home refractive eye test makes it incredibly easy to get a contacts or eyeglasses prescription from our nationwide board-certified ophthalmologists, nothing replaces having an eye care professional test you for more things than whether you can read an eye chart.
Our docs can't detect disease, and even with the prior medical history you provide, we can't keep abreast of pre-existing or genetic conditions like your personal eye doctor. eyeTest.com won't allow four consecutive scripts to be given out in a 5-year span without an eye test.
