• How much does an eyeTest.com at-home eye test cost?

  If they're done at the same time, both the eyeTest.com eye test and the ophthalmologist's review is FREE for glasses or contacts.

• Does eyeTest.com accept insurance for the cost of the eye test?

  Currently, eyeTest.com doesn't accept medical or vision insurance as a direct form of payment; however, feel free to submit a claim to your vision insurance provider for the cost of our eye test. While we can't guarantee reimbursement, many vision insurances will reimburse the cost.

• Can I pay for my eye test using a credit card?

  Yes: eyeTest.com accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express (including cards that have FSA/HSA funds on them).

• What’s a flexible spending account (FSA)?

  A flexible spending account (also known as an FSA) is a program that lets patients set aside pre-taxed money for health care expenses like a glasses or contacts prescription (among other things). If you don't know if you have an FSA, you can check with your insurance company to find out.

  Note: FSA money that is left unspent at the end of the calendar year is forfeited.

• Does eyeTest.com accept HSA and FSA cards?

  As long as HSA and FSA cards are branded with the Visa® or MasterCard® logo, yes, eyeTest.com can accept them.

• What can I pay for at eyeTest.com using my FSA?

  eyeTest.com accepts FSA dollars for all prescription purchases. We also allow patients to use more than one payment card in the same transaction. If you'd like to use your FSA card to pay for part of your purchase and apply the remaining balance to a different credit card, call our Patient Support Team for help.

• When do I pay for my test?

  You enter your payment information after you qualify to take the test. However, you will not be charged until your new prescription is issued by a board-certified ophthalmologist. You will not be charged if for some reason a prescription cannot be issued.

• Do you have a refund policy?

  Sure do and it's a good one: Shop at eyeTest.com and you'll get a prescription you love or your money back. Guaranteed.

  If for any reason you're not totally satisfied with your vision from your eyeTest.com prescription, contact us within 30 days of receiving your script (and be able to provide proof that you purchased your glasses or contacts with our prescriptions) and we'll make things right as rain for you or, issue a full refund.

  And if our ophthalmologists can't give you a prescription you love after you have paid, we will refund your money. (Note: Refunds are only applicable to the eyeTest.com prescription service.)
